We are pleased to share our installation Thresholds of Porosity: Hospitality as Care at MEA, presented at the Maison de l'enfance et de l'adolescence (MEA), Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (HUG).

Designed as a child-friendly, trauma-sensitive therapeutic interface, the project uses light, paper, and participatory reflection tools to transform the waiting area into an active space of care, supporting children, adolescents, and families before consultation begins.

Developed in response to feedback from MEA clinicians and staff, the installation encourages orientation, reassurance, emotional expression, and trust during waiting time.

Led by Yunni Cho through the Weavise initiative and supported by Fondation Convergences, BRIDGE Proof of Concept, and the Swiss Center for Design and Health, the project will remain in place for two months to gather user feedback and evaluate its impact, with the vernissage on March 31.
