We are pleased to share that Can Beauty Heal Us? (2026, 51 min) has received 2nd Prize in the Feature-Length category at Art Film Fest, organized by Inside Art magazine and La Galleria Nazionale in Italy.
Created by Dr. Yunni Cho with filmmaker Alexandre Humbert, the film explores how architecture and the built environment influence mental well-being, care, memory, and human connection. Filmed across healthcare, cultural, and historic sites in Europe, it asks how the spaces around us can support dignity and recovery.
The award comes as the film begins a series of screenings and conversations across Europe. Following a screening and debate at the Universidade de Aveiro in Portugal on September 26, the film will be presented in Ukraine, Annecy, Oradea, Naples, and London over the coming months, including screenings at Ciné Archi, the NOCA Center, the Afragola International Architecture Film Festival, and Foster + Partners.
It is especially meaningful to see the film entering different cultural, academic, and architectural contexts and opening new conversations around the relationship between space, care, and well-being.
Can Beauty Heal Us? was produced by Studio AH Alexandre Humbert, supported by the Weavise Initiative, and funded by the BRIDGE Funding Programme.
