We are pleased to share that our installation Internal Territories: Perceiving Space Through the Mind, presented during the festival "Citoyen·nes en mouvement pour la santé" in La Chaux-de-Fonds, was featured on local television by Canal Alpha.
Developed by Dr. Yunni Cho through the Weavise initiative, the installation explored how mental states shape the perception and emotional experience of space. Drawing from testimonials collected by Claire Daugeard with patients and peer practitioners in Neuchâtel, the project translated lived psychiatric experiences into reflective lanterns, interpretive drawings, and projected light patterns.
The installation invited visitors to encounter their own reflections on mirrored surfaces, encouraging empathy and a deeper understanding of how psychological states can profoundly alter sensory and spatial perception.
Presented alongside participatory workshops on empathy, resilience, biophilia, and restorative rituals, the project formed part of a citywide public program organized by Les Scènes solidaires.
We are grateful to Canal Alpha for highlighting the project and helping bring wider visibility to conversations around mental health, lived experience, and spatial empathy.
